Gavril "Gabi" Illioi
Gavril Ilioi was born in 1978 in the beautiful village of Marginea, (“The edge”) Romania, being the youngest child of Ilioi Aurelian and Maria family. The death of his father, when he was just 2 years old, defined a life of hard work and responsibility. Through God’s grace, he was able at the age of 14 to attend “Emanuel Christian High School” in Cluj Napoca. At the age of 18, soon after finishing high school, he moved to United State of America. At the age of 19 he met Alina Gaboras, who was to become in September 13,1998 his precious wife. In 2004 God blessed Gabi and Alina with the most valuable gift of all, the first and only daughter, Gabrielle Juliet.
In 2009 Gabi graduated with a bachelor degree in business administration and management from University of Phoenix. He uses his knowledge and expertise in his private business, Southern California Construction.
In 2010 God challenged him to use his experience and skills in getting involved in the construction process of a church in Haiti, while serving as a board of directors member at Bethel Romanian Church in Stanton. God extended Gabi’s involvement in Haiti by giving him a special calling to start an orphanage. Along with TOR, his work and effort is bearing fruit in the 19 children that are part of “Pain du Vie” orphanage.
In his free time he enjoys almost everything that has to do with a ball: soccer, tennis, golf… With all these behind, he is faithfully taking steps forward in this amazing ministry, and keeps his eyes on the Lord who was and is the source of his life.
