Damaris Secrian
Damaris Secrian was born and raised in Southern California. She met her husband Razvan at Bethel Church where they were both serving in the youth and children’s ministry. They were married in February of 2011. Three months before they were married, Damaris and Razvan traveled to Mexico on a mission trip, where they first started discussing their interests in being involved in third world missions. Having been involved in missions in Romania, Moldova, Honduras, and Mexico and hearing the desperate need after the 2010 earthquake, Damaris and Razvan decided to go to Haiti in June of 2011. In response to God’s calling and their desire to help, Damaris and Razvan became part of the founding board members of The Tower Of Refuge.
Damaris received her Bachelor’s in Child Development and Family Studies and Minor Certificate in Speech Communication from California State University, Long Beach in 2010. To educate herself on how to better serve the Haitian population, Damaris began her Master’s in Social Work at Azusa Pacific University in the Fall of 2012.
She is currently finishing her master’s while preparing to be a mother to her first child, Kate. When she is not studying, she enjoys playing guitar, trying new recipes, singing, and serving in the Girls Ministry board at Bethel Church.
